I took a week long break from blogging to clear my head, gather my thoughts, and essentially just because I needed a break.

I was excited to get back to blogging this morning as I love connecting with all of you guys. However my morning started on the worst foot possible as I found out a serious car accident killed two people I know, and the third passenger, a girl I used to work with, is in the hospital with incredibly serious injuries. Injuries I can’t even wrap my head around.

Here is a link to the story if you so choose to read/watch it. I can’t. I am surprised at how badly this has shook me up.

I was talking to a friend today about how so very few people I have been close with have passed away, yet all of them occured in the month of August. Tomorrow is actually the 6 year anniversary of the death of one of my close friends. I know that things always get better, and this too shall pass, however; this is not fair.

If you are someone who prays, I beg that you keep my friend in your prayers. I promise I will be back to regular blogging soon!

Ahhh I read about that when it first happened. So horrific and so sad. I’m interested to hear what comes of the investigation and the driver going the wrong way. Can you believe a couple of different people reported them before the accident happened? At least they’ll be no talking their way out of it in court… In any case, I’ll be thinking of ya and sending love!
