Happy Hump Day!

Happy Hump Day everyone! 🙂 This week seems to be dragging it’s heels. I’m a big advocate for living in the moment, however, Friday could hurry itself up now. As could the sunshine.

Yesterday was spent working and then with a friend doing some research for a paper. The paper is based on a child neglect case and it is taking its toll on me as I have become so emotionally invested in it!

I also heard from my family yesterday that a family member (cousin of sorts) was in an accident on Saturday. He and his friends were camping and took their car for a drive down a logging road at about midnight. They hit some ice, went over the side of a bridge, fell 20 meters into the water and luckily managed to get out of the car. They then had to scale an embankment and walk four kilometers in the freezing cold before they got help. It’s remarkable that they survived, let alone none of them were seriously injured.

Well, I’m off to an early meeting! Here is the most adorable video ever to start your day with 🙂

Have you ever survived something crazy? What are your plans for the rest of the week?
