101 in 1001

Here is my list of 101 things I plan on doing in 1001 days! When I separated them into categories the numbers mixed up….but there are 101 there!

Start date: May 17, 2011

End date: February 11, 2014


  1. Run a 5k
  2. Do the 30 day shred in 30 consecutive days
  3. Make swimming a regular part of exercise
  4. Bike 25 kms in one day
  5. Run a 10k
  6. Go Kayaking with Chris
  7. Finish 100 pushup challenge
  8. Try pole dancing
  9. Try a spin class
  10. Reach 140 pounds
  11. Hit golf balls at a driving range
  12. Play 9 holes of golf
  13. Play paintball
  14. Go surfing
  15. Go horseback riding
  16. Go the batting cages
  17. Go ice skating

To buy:

  1. Buy FIVE matching bra/underwear sets
  2. Buy someone’s coffee in the drive-thru
  3. Buy a lottery ticket
  4. Buy NEW towels
  5. Buy a house
  6. Send someone flowers “just because”

To Do!:

  1. Take a snowboarding lesson
  2. Start a vegetable garden
  3. Volunteer somewhere
  4. Go to an NHL game
  5. Go vegetarian for one week
  6. Get a massage
  7. Get a facial
  8. Learn to change a tire
  9. Meditate every day for one week
  10. Have sex in every single room of the house
  11. Take a course or class through the Rec Center
  12. Mow a lawn
  13. Milk a cow
  14. Go on a roller coaster (get over my fear after the Behemoth)
  15. Genuinely surprise Chris
  16. Build a snowman
  17. Donate blood

The “Do nots”:

  1. Spend three days without going online or using my phone
  2. Go one month without Facebook without deleting it
  3. Go one week without coffee


  1. Learn to speak Spanish fluently
  2. Learn to barbecue
  3. Learn and be able to recite all 50 states
  4. Learn to play a song on the guitar
  5. Learn to use my jumper cables
  6. Learn to understand Football


  1. Feel comfortable in a bikini
  2. Use BeautiControl face wash to get better skin again!
  3. Wear a necklace every day for a month
  4. Moisturize every day for a month
  5. Whiten my teeth (either professional or at home)
  6. Go to the dentist once per year
  7. Wear my hair down every day for a week


  1. Travel overseas
  2. Go to a nude beach
  3. Visit TWO new MLB stadiums
  4. See one new province and one new state
  5. Go to Vegas


  1. Can my own fruit or vegetables
  2. Have a picnic
  3. Eat dinner at the table (not in front of TV) every day for a month
  4. Cook a Thanksgiving dinner
  5. Take a cooking class
  6. Eat locally (only) for one month
  7. Cook an entire meal myself while camping
  8. Learn to make 10 drinks
  9. Try three foods I don’t want to try
  10. Make four “foreign” recipes
  11. Try 10 new restaurants
  12. Eat something new at Delicado’s
  13. Go apple picking and make an apple pie

  3. Pay off Student loans
  4. Pay Mom the $2000 I owe her
  5. Spend no money for one week (other than bills)
  6. Start a vacation savings account
  7. Donate $2 for every goal not completed


  1. Finish my Nutritional Consulting Diploma
  2. Finish all third year CYC courses
  3. Get an A+ on a paper or entire course


  1. Read 50 books
  2. Watch IMDB’s top 50 movies (as of May 17)
  3. Put together a 1000+ piece puzzle
  4. Write and mail ten letters to Kirstin
  5. Solve a Rubiks cube
  6. Knit a scarf
  7. Read every Jodi Picoult book
  8. Grow herbs
  9. Go to a rodeo
  10. See the Tragically Hip in concert
  11. Meet a blogger
  12. Ride an Elephant
  13. Go to the PNE
  14. Carve a pumpkin
  15. Watch the sunrise and sunset in the same day
  16. Send a secret to postsecret
  17. Read 5 non-fiction books
